Cancer Research UK - VR experience

A virtual reality garden experience for Cancer Research UK. The 'Life Garden' was created to celebrate and thank over 100,000 people who have left a gift in their Will to the charity. The ‘Life Garden’ was a physical installation at Hampton Court flower show, with people transported to a seemingly endless field of flowers after donning an Oculus Rift headset.

I was in charge of lighting and look dev using maya and vray 3.0. As well as this, I used an xgen index archive tool to position flowers in the clients specified garden layout.

To populate the scene, five different species of flowers had to be built at varying levels of detail
