A virtual reality garden experience for Cancer Research UK. The
'Life Garden' was created to celebrate and thank over 100,000 people
who have left a gift in their Will to the charity. The ‘Life
Garden’ was a physical installation at Hampton Court flower show,
with people transported to a seemingly endless field of flowers after
donning an Oculus Rift headset.
I was in charge of lighting and look dev using maya and vray
3.0. As well as this, I used an xgen index archive tool to position
flowers in the clients specified garden layout.

The flower layout is driven with a painted PTEX file read into an Xgen Archive Tool |
|
To populate the scene, five different species of flowers had to be built at varying levels of detail |
